Investment: US$ 580.00 plus shipping expenses.

Some customers asked if it was possible to ask Marcio to make bigger knives with his distintive integral guard and here is the answer!
with a hand rubbed 52100 blade that is over 1/4" thick at the guard, this big camp knife is very well balanced thanks to the even distal taper. The stag handle not only looks great but is very confortale and safe to handle, too.
The brown leather sheath that comes with it was also made by Marcio and has an interesting stud composed of a stag tine tip attached to the sheath body by a leather thong.
A clean and ellegant big blade with Marcio´s signature touch all over it, proving that he can do very well in any size blade.

Flat Back Bowie Fighter by Dione Teodoro

Blade: 8" long 5160 steel forged by the maker - Handle: Sellected Imbuia root with antiqued guard - Sheath: No sheath but I can have one made for US$ 40.00.

Status: ready to ship! Contact me and get it now!
Investment: US$ 210.00 plus shipping expenses.

This is a small and super light flatback bowie. At 8" the forged, hand rubbed flat ground 1070 steel blade feels more like if it was 5" long.
The handle is a nicely figured piece of imbuia root and the carbon steel fittings have een lightly etched giving the knife a different look. Dione Teodoro is an artisan from the state of Mato Grosso who studied under Sgt. Francisco Ferrari at the time he was serving there. His work represents a great value and he strives to make it better and better, even with the very limited resources he has in the small town where he lives (his wife told me she had to travel 50 miles just to get an USB cable for their camera!).

Clip Point Bowie by Luciano Chaves

Blade: 7 1/2" long hand rubbed k100 tool steel - Handle: Black ebony slabs mounted on a stainlss frame and with stainless guard - Sheath: Tooled black leather.

Status: ready to ship! Contact me and get it now!
Investment: US$ 485.00 plus shipping expenses and paypal fees if any.

This classic style bowie has an accentuated clip point not seen very often today. Tha, along with the sculpted ebony handle really make it stand out in any collection.
The steel used on this blade is very, very tough and keeps an edge almost forever. I can imagine the effort Luciano had to do to have it satin finished - wonder if he still has fingers after that!
This knife comes with a tooled leather sheath by the maker. Luciano´s leather work is as good as his knives and he went as far as copying the handle profile on the belt loop.

A great knife and a piece of Brazilian history!
The damascus for this blade and furnitures was hand forged (literally, no power hammer or press back then) by the guys at Korth that by the time also included Flavio Ikoma.
At the ricasso the knife bears the Korth logo and the number 003. On the other side the date 07/91 (July, 1991)
The sturdy brown leather sheath is original and typical of the sheathes made by Korth at the time.
This knife has been comissioned by a collector who later sold it to me. I sold it to another collector and he kept it with him until selling his collection back to me two weeks ago, and it come to my hands again.
Knife and sheath are in perfect consdition, showing only minor storage and age marks.
This unique knife is a piece of Brazilian Custom Knife History and is perfect for who likes great bowies and/or appreciates Korth´s work.

Integral Hunter by Marcio Bittencourt

Status: ready to ship! Contact me and get it now!
Investment: US$ 350.00 plus shipping expenses and paypal fees if any.

It seems that Marcio don´t need more than some steel and some wood to come up with a knife that is pure ellegance - I had asked him to make some variations on the integral theme and he didn´t disappoint me! This medium sized hunter/utility is imeccably forged from 01 tool steel and finished in Marcio´s usual high standard. The integral guard has a vertical round groove that is repeated in the stainless buttcap and its rounded, comfortable handle is made from a beautiful piece of black Jacarandá (rosewood), one of the several variations of this wood availabile in Brazil - it is somewhat similar to ebony in color but the grain looks different when you see it closer. Despite how nice it looks, it is a great user, reay for duty.

Light and elegant, this hunter has a  handle made of imbuia root, wich is my prefered Brazilian wood due to its three dimensional effect and convoluted figure.
