A good hunter must be a hard working tool. But it can have some style to, and be afordable as well. This is a very nice example of a knive with all those traits. The blade is forged from 1" round stock (good old 5160) and the handle is a great looking piece of imbuia burl. Sheath is made from cow leather, aged and hand sewed. This knife is one of the best deals I have offered so far. |

A large bowie is always a good sight! Berardo presents Old Sarah, a massive 11 inches blade forged from 5160 steel with a large clip. The fittings are all stainless and satin finished with a nice touch on the guard design. The handle is imbuia burl with piquet work and the sheath is hand sewed and aged cow leather. The pin that crosses the tang and the handle is acctualy hidden as one of the piquet pieces of the job done on the handle, a nice and classy detail. |

Integral Guard Bowie by Rodrigo Sfreddo
Blade: 8" damascus steel- Handle: Premium Sambar scales- Status: SOLD
This knife has a very interesting construction. The blade, tang and guard were forged from one single billet, making it an integral piece all the way. The pattern is Rodrigo's ladder pattern and the handle is a great looking set of Sambar scales in coffin design. The sheath is a great looking piece on it's own. The frog button is damascus and has nice filework on it. It is hand sewed with cow leather and has a high inlay of shark skin made with Rodrigo's original technique. |

Paraty Fighter by Eduardo Berardo

Sendero Hunter by Eduardo Berardo

The award winning design by Jerry Fisk is trully very good looking and extremely functional. Several makers have made their renditions to this model and so did Berardo. The blade and guard are forged from the same billet of a modified W pattern mosaic damascus. The handle is a nice block of stablized thuya burl and the pins are domed stainless. The sheath is cow leather, and painted and sewed. |

This knife is, using a definition of my own, a queen amongst others. The carved ebony coffin handle has stainless domed pins in a very well executed piqué work. All furnitures are stainless, including the habaki and the fileworked spacer and mosaic damascus, from wich the blade was forged. This mosaic pattern is one of the maker's exclusives. The sheath is shark leather and also very well executed. This knife is a great deal for the price it's being offered. |

This is a mean fighter with very nice looks. It's got some frontier flavour with that big old stag crown as a handle and it features a massive blade over 12 inches long. The guard is nicely hand filed to shape for a delicate "s" sort of shape mixed with a half-penny look. The long swedge gives it a really ferocious look. It comes with a nice buffalo leather sheath with stainless frogbuttom and doomed pins. |
